Consistent quality, easy access

I bought the Advanced Guitar Theory modules this time, and it was just as good as the last. Always easy to get right into the material, no fuss with downloads. Been back a few times now, always reliable.

Good value for full course

I was looking for something comprehensive and found the Guitar Theory Revolution video course. The bundle discount for getting the full course was really good. It felt like a solid investment compared to buying individual lessons elsewhere. Saved a decent chunk of change, and the content seems great. Definitely worth what I paid.

Clear material, quick support

I purchased the 'Music Theory for Guitarists' course and also got the 'Fretboard Mastery guide' as part of a deal. Ordering was straightforward, just clicked and paid. The content was immediately accessible, which was great, no waiting. The lessons themselves are really clear, especially the fretboard-centric approach; it made a lot of sense. I had a small question about accessing one of the practice schedules, and support got back to me within a few hours. The quality of the video lessons was good, not overly produced but very clear. Overall, it provided a lot of solid information and guidance for what I was looking to learn.

Hey thinking about getting into some theory stuff, is the full course really worth it or should I just grab a couple of the smaller modules first? That bundle discount sounds sweet but it's a chunk of change.

T Theodore Garcia 3 weeks ago
I'd say go for the bundle if you're serious. The discount on it is pretty good, like 30-50% off compared to buying everything separately. Plus, it's all structured to build on itself, so you'd probably end up wanting the rest anyway.

Yeah, I just did the whole course. It's a one-time payment so no subscriptions which is nice. Neill really breaks it down, very different from just random YouTube videos. You get instant access to everything too, so no waiting around to dive in.

Heard good stuff about Guitar Theory Revolution, but how does it compare to something like JustinGuitar? I've done some of Justin's free stuff, wondering if GTR is a big step up for theory specifically.

N Nathan Reyes 3 weeks ago
JustinGuitar is awesome for general learning, especially for beginners. But for pure theory, Neill's GTR platform really focuses on applying it directly to the fretboard. It's less about traditional notation and more about understanding how to use scales and chords in a practical way. It's a whole different beast.

I used Justin's too but got GTR mainly for the theory. It's like going deeper into the 'why' behind what you're playing. Neill's method is super clear without needing to read sheet music, which was a big plus for me. You can just watch the videos on your phone too, easy to practice wherever.
